2002 Heroes of 2001 Semipostal Stamps: Self-Adhesive Sheet for Letter Mail

Heroes of 2001 depicts three firefighters raising an American flag at the World Trade Center site after the September 11 attacks. The design uses Thomas E. Franklin's photograph. USPS issued this semipostal stamp on June 7, 2002.

Each self-adhesive sheet contains 20 stamps. The purchase option you select determines the number of sheets and the total number of stamps in your order.

• 5 sheets: 100 stamps

• 25 sheets: 500 stamps
• 50 sheets: 1,000 stamps

Mailing use

This is a semipostal stamp, not a Forever stamp. USPS lists its postage value as 37 cents in its guide to nondenominated postage. Add postage as needed to meet the current rate for your mail. The fundraising portion of the original sale price is not postage value.
